Brazil is already an important market in the offshore oil and gas industry. The exploration of the pre-salt fields off the South East coast of Brazil is expected to increase market demand for a wide range of products and services, as the subsea element of production continues to grow.
Welcoming the delegation were VP Technology - David Tibbetts, VP Commercial - Jenny Bamford, Business Development Manager - Martyn Conroy, Steven Kilpatrick - Project Delivery Manager, as well as all department heads. Commenting on the visit, Jenny Bamford said, “This has been a valuable exchange of information with potential commercial partners who had already demonstrated an interest in the value proposition offered by Aquatic. Our strategic focus for offshore Brazil will be greatly enhanced by engaging with this influential group of Brazilian offshore oil and gas business representatives. We value the opportunities that participating at Subsea Expo 2014 and membership of Subsea UK has already delivered and we anticipate further dialogue with the Brazilian colleagues we’ve met with today.”
